FAMILY: Married for 63 years to Joseph Henry Schweich, who died in 1995 at age 91. Two children: Bob Schweich of New York and Susie Trieman of California; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
EDUCATION: Born at home in Kansas City in 1909. Leesy Schweich attended Washington University for two years and then the University of Chicago for two years. She graduated in 1930 and then taught at Kansas City Teachers College before meeting Joseph Schweich from St. Louis. They were married in 1932 and made St. Louis their home. For 60 years, they lived on Fauquier Drive in Clayton. Leesy now lives at the Gatesworth at One McKnight Place.
