About Watkins, Carol
Carol Watkins has over twenty years experience as a classroom teacher. She is a writer with published articles in magazines and has served as a consultant and curriculum writer for over twelve years. While teaching, Carol used storytelling as a means to motivate her students to read. These same stories were used to teach writing through dissecting them and discovering the plot outline. For the last seven years, Carol has delighted audiences with her energetic storytelling. Carol is passionate about exciting young minds to explore the possibilities of creating their own original stories. She believes that, given the tools and motivation, most students will discover the world of imagination that will spill over into creative expression through writing.
