About Storytellers Side by Side
Karen Young and Gale Rublee Portman formed Storytellers Side by Side because they believe that entertainment and education can go hand in hand. In their inventive and interactive programs for schools they combine stories, drama, science, history, mystery and even math to help make learning more fun. Drawing upon their unique talents and skills in theater, storytelling, writing, teaching and nature education, they spark creativity and problem solving, tantalize imaginations and bring history to life.
