Along the Oregon Trail
Using music and songs based on diaries and stories of the pioneers, “Buffalo Bill” celebrates the historic Oregon Trail and its significance to the United States’ heritage. This performance features slides of historical paintings and photographs, as well as stories in American Indian Sign Language.

About Buffalo Bill
William Boycott aka "Buffalo Bill" performs historical, cowboy and original songs on the history of the Wild West using fiddle, banjo, mandolin, guitar and vocals. Bill's programs are participatory and inclusive, and students learn Indian Sign Language. He performs at many festivals, concerts, and cowboy poetry gatherings all across the West and beyond. Bill was a member of The New Christy Minstrels from 2005-2008. He has also performed in concert with the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Waddie Mitchell and Riders in the Sky. He has produced two programs on the history of the West/Wyoming and the Oregon Trail in cooperation with Wyoming Public TV and has five audio recording to his credit.
