All That Dance!
What do Jazz, Modern, West African and Hip Hop dance all have in common? Your students will make the connection after learning the steps. Students spend three weeks exploring each one of the dance styles. Learning about the history and music associated with each style’s contemporary form helps students see the historical and cultural connections to each genre of dance. An optional end of the semester school performance can show all that your students have learned.
