CDO Capoeira; Afro-Brazilian Martial Arts & Culture NEW
Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian art form that combines music, dance, acrobats and martial-art techniques. The flow of kicks, sweeps, cartwheels, handstands, and flips is set to the rhythm of Brazilian songs and percussion instruments. This creates a game requiring strength, agility, creativity, and communication between players. A unique art form, Capoeira encourages teamwork, self-confidence, self-expression, and a new cultural experience for all audiences.

About Schulz, Tebogo & Cordão de Ouro Capoeira (CDO)
Cordão de Ouro Capoeira was founded in 1965 by Mestre Suassuna in São Paulo, Brazil. The most important aspect of Cordão de Ouro that sets it apart from many other Capoeira groups is the strong sense of family found within. The tight bonds that have formed between the Capoeira players in Cordão de Ouro are what we consider our most important defining characteristic. Contra-Mestre Denis and Monitor Tebogo and all the students of Cordão de Ouro would like to welcome you to be a part of our family.
