The Going Green Groove NEW
The Going Green Groove is a 45 minute musical performance focusing on where energy comes from, how people use it and how that affects the earth. First we meet two students, Manny and Prudence, who have been given an assignment on “Energy and Going Green”. Manny wants to focus on the energy of the future like Solar Power while Prudence wants to focus on Energy Conservation. The magical Sun King appears to help set the record straight, challenge, and educate. He wants to see if humans have the power to change, live in balance with nature, and preserve “their precious home among the stars”. The audience is entertained with song, story, and humor while learning more about energy, going green, and using their big brains and personal energy to “Conserve Energy Today while Developing Renewable Energy for Tomorrow!”
