From childhood on, music has been an integral part of Nancy’s life from singing in choirs, to playing her French Horn and experiencing it in many different venues.

As an assistant in a Montessori School, she taught music which inspired her to get her training in Kindermusik to focus on bringing music to students, birth – seven years.  Nancy has taught for 20 years in studio settings, Montessori and preschools, Headstart, churches, Parents as Teachers, and the YMCA. She also has done teacher-training for Kindermusik International, conducting training workshops in St. Louis and other cities. She has taught at Webster University’s Community Music School, in the Young Years Program, parent/child classes, workshops, demos and camps for 20 yrs. She has worked with Springboard, teaching preschool classes (at least 25 12-week residencies) since 2014 in the St. Louis Public Schools.  She has also received Teacher Artist Training from The Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning Through the Arts out of Washington D.C.  She has also been trained in Wolf Trap’s STEM Early Childhood Math Program. Her most recent accomplishment was completing “Baby Bare” Certificate Training – studying the links between infant movement and neurological development.

Her greatest joy is sharing her love of music to children and their families!
