(Originally Developed by Carrie Launius)

Minds come to life as students discover the exciting connections between art, literacy, and the world of science! The Great Investigation gets students to: ask scientific questions, define problems, develop and use models, plan and carry out investigations, analyze and interpret data, use math and computational thinking, construct explanations, design solutions, engage in argument from evidence, and obtain, evaluate, and communicate information– all with milk and cookies. This residency culminates with a gallery walk showcasing student research.
